About Us

Mission

Human Impact Project of Atlanta(HIPAtlanta) is a peer driven agency targeting the African-American Men inclusive of Same-Gender Loving Men providing outreach, HIV Testing, linkage to care, linkage to care, social determinants of health impact services and workforce development.

 

Vision

A self-sustaining empowerment center regardless of sexuality orientation and/or gender identity to embrace, educate and empower each other.

HIPATLANTA HISTORY

2011 - Five African-American men begin to address what are the current needs for African-American men living with HIV/AIDS or High Risk Groups.

 

2012 - HIV Intervention Project, Inc. was established to link persons living with HIV/AIDS with challenges into affordable healthcare, provide Rapid HIV/AIDS Testing and Workforce Development for persons living with HIV/AIDS and Ticket To Work opportunities.

 

2012 - HIPAtlanta grows to outreach more than 25,000 safer-sex kits in a single year and raises funds by recycling donated small electronics, private donors, and reselling designer clothing from non-corporate donors.

 

2013 - HIPAtlanta is awarded its 501(c)(3) from the Internal Revenue Service.
